#BlackEconomicsMatter is the evolution and answer to #BlackLivesMatter. Black Lives Matter started as a movement to address the police injustices spurred by the killing of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida.

Many movements have started at the unrest and killing of young Black men by police forces. The protests were warranted by the urgent need to address the issue. Despite the myriad of problems that plague Black America, economics is one of the main solutions to address these issues.

Black Economics Matter will address and develop strategies from an economic perspective to promote increased entrepreneurship, insurance policies, real estate ownership, trades and commerce in the Black community. This will stimulate job creation. Business ownership will enable the national Black community to gain a stronger voice in local, state, federal politics and media outlets to make structural change to policies that will bring sustainable economic growth to Black communities.
